A Snowicane For Newfoundland
Canada's Newfoundland coast should be prepared for heavy snow and hurricane-force wind gusts Sunday as a powerful winter storm makes its way northeastward.
As of Sunday morning, heavy snow continued to fall across southeastern Canada, according to the AccuWeather.com Canadian Radar (PREMIUM | PRO). (We combine radar data from Environment Canada and the U.S. National Weather Service, then estimate areas of rain, snow and ice to produce this image).
Environment Canada has issued wind, zero-visibility and other winter advisories across the area.
