UPDATE: The NWS has issued a Heavy Snow Warning for tonight along Long Island, New York City and parts of Northeast New Jersey as heavy snow moves into the area. Looks like I'll be issuing a new list tomorrow morning.

Here is an update to my report from this morning on impressive snow, sleet and freezing rain totals across the nation. Note the two reports of extreme sleet accumulations at 8 and 9 inches, exceeding reports last month that I thought were impressive.

Some pretty impressive amounts came out of Virginia -- over 10 inches at Willow Grove. The Mid-Atlantic amounts will be updated throughout the evening, as it is still snowing in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and New Jersey.
