Here's a summary of this weekend's severe weather outbreaks in the Plains:
Tornado Reports: 54
Hail Reports: 243
Wind Reports: 37
Total Severe Reports: 334
Tornado Warnings Issued: 47
Today, a larger, more dangerous Moderate Risk is in effect for much of the Southern Plains. The SPC [JessePedia] says:
THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER IN NORMAN OK IS FORECASTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF A FEW STRONG TORNADOES AND DESTRUCTIVE HAIL OVER PARTS OF THE CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN PLAINS LATER TODAY AND TONIGHT.
