>500,000 (Half A Million) Without Power*
>15,000 Evacuated (14,500 in NJ Alone)
- 5 Deaths (1 NY, 1 CT, 1 SC, 5 TX/KS -- CNN)

*CNN reported 300,000 from MD to ME; The Times News reported 213,000 in Carolinas .

Mount Washington, NH: 156 mph*
Stow, MA: 86 mph***
Cape Elizabeth, ME: 81 mph
Flattop Mountain, NC: 81 mph
Mantinicus Rock, ME: 80 mph
Shinnecock, ME: 79 mph
Johnstown, PA: 78 mph**
First Connecticut Lake, ME: 77 mph***
Ship Offshore: 72 mph sustained
Brooklyn, ME: 71 mph
Patuxent, MD: 71 mph (MD DOT)

*Only the 3rd Category 5 strength wind since 1996!

Mount Mitchell and Grandfather Mountain, North Carolina did not report today but typically have winds in excess of 100 mph on days like these.
