40-Foot Waves Off U.K. Coast
The AccuWeather.com Professional Wave Watch III marine computer forecast model warned yesterday that waves over 42 feet high were possible off the coast of the United Kingdom with this week's approaching storm.
And sure enough, Buoy 62081, just off the southwest coast of the United Kingdom, reported 38 foot waves this morning.
