15-Foot Waves, 6 Inches of Rain

Above is a forecast rainfall map for the storm. As of 10 AM Friday, rainfall over 4 inches had already doused parts of the mid-Atlantic states, according to Doppler Radar:
We are predicting that "With a full moon, tides are already running high. The combination of the wind and the astronomical effects will lead to coastal flooding and beach erosion, both right at the shore and in bays and inlets."

Waves as high as 10.5 feet were reported at 10 AM off the coast of Delaware at Buoy 44009 (WINDS LIVE | ARCHIVED & WAVES LIVE & ARCHIVED), where wind gusts to 45 mph also hammered the ocean waters.
