15-Day, Historical, Wx Alarms: Now Better Than Ever
Two of the most frequently asked questions about the new (ad-supported) AccuWeather.com are:
1. Where did the extended/long-format 15-day forecast go? 2. Where did the historical data go? 3. What happened to the WeatherAlarms?
I'm happy to announce that all three are still there, and are better than ever. Plus, we are looking into more ways to link to them. Both the 15-day and historical data now appear on the new "Month Outlook - List View" page. You can get to this via the "Forecast" navigation...
Note that you could have also clicked on the "Month" tab and clicked the List Icon circled in red below, to get here. Click on "February 2010" to see the historical data for last month. And here's the best news -- you can now go 1 year back, instead of just one month like on the old site!
The monthly summary is at the bottom. All of the info we used to have is here, except for Degree Days & Records which were removed (you can still get them on Premium). If you are forecast to get close to a record, we'll also mention that in the forecast for the day.
You can also find your way to this page by clicking on All 15 Days if you're already reading our Extended Forecast.
By the way, WeatherAlarms are still there too, in fact we even indicate a WeatherAlarm in the icon forecast for the day, see the red circles below.
