By Jesse Ferrell, AccuWeather meteorologist and senior weather editor

Here are a few of the latest incredible West Coast snow totals for the continuing series of storms there:

CALIFORNIA:
Kirkwood, CA: 132" (11 Feet!)**
Heavenly Valley, NV: 96"
Mammath Mountain, CA: 84"
Tahoe, CA: 90"*
Blackcap Basin, CA: 83.5"

OTHERS OVER 40":
Incline Village, NV: 48"
Silverton Mountain, CO: 47" *
Diamond Peak, NV: 43" *

*SkiReports.com

**The 11-foot report was transmitted from Kirkwood Ski Resort through the NWS in this Local Storm Report. They claim that 10 feet fell in a 48-hour period, the 11-foot report was a storm-total.

Watching the CalTrans cams has been interesting... not only have there been snowy scenes of impassible roads, such as this one snapped tonight...

Some have been very telling, such as this one, which not only warned oncoming traffic of the bad weather, but showed the storm's history - notice the trees at right, torn and felled by the wind.

Check out the video below of Route 50. The first part was from this evening, I point out with my mouse a Speed Limit sign nearly buried by the snow, and you can see that the "median" of plowed snow is at least 5 feet tall. The second part was from last night, when traffic was stopped.
