I am @AccuFrank on Twitter, which is the most reliable way to get alerted when I post new stuff. There's also this Facebook fan page thingie, which is not particularly reliable for that but it's good for posting little things where 140 characters won't do them justice.
A lot of places are going to get a taste of Springtime over the next few days before next week's storm cools things down.
A weak storm and moderately cold air will bring some snow and ice to parts of the Plains tonight and early tomorrow. After that, we get nice and warm until next week's storm.
The Carolinas and Virginia get rain, snow and ice tonight and tomorrow from storm 1, then we get a nice weekend and start to next week. But another storm around the middle next week will bring the cold back.
With the storm track farther south, a major winter storm is hitting the South. There will be some storms to deal with in the warm sector as well. Another storm later this week could drop snow, too!
The main event over the next few days will be a storm that causes a lot of snow and ice to the north and some severe weather to the south. There will also be a storm of some sort next week.
Something about the title doesn't make sense, does it? Spring is approaching but colder air will continue to take over in the coming days, leading to snow chances.
