Minneapolis police have arrested a man suspected of sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl last weekend.
Jarid Troy Alan Jovanovich, 28, was arrested under the 3rd Avenue Bridge on Wednesday morning.
The Anoka County sheriff's office sent a release on May 23 asking for the public to help locate Jovanovich, who was suspected of entering homes in the Columbia Heights and the St. Anthony area Sunday morning.

In one incident, Jovanovich is believed to have entered a home and sexually assaulted a 9-year-old girl. Since then, he was reportedly seen near St. Anthony Park and around south Minneapolis.
Most recently, was convicted of first-degree burglary stemming from an incident in March 2015 and spent 182 days in jail.
