Fog patches are expected to form on Saturday evening, becoming locally dense by Sunday morning. Not everywhere will see fog, but where it does form visibility is likely to fall below 100 metres, perhaps locally below 50 metres in a few spots.
The public should be aware of the potential for some difficult driving conditions and minor travel disruption. Whilst some areas of cloud are likely to persist overnight, many places will see spells of clear sky. Where this does occur, conditions are favourable for fog formation. This is likely to be patchy but sometimes dense - perhaps an additional hazard for drivers. The public is advised to take extra care, further information and advice can be found here: http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/warnings/
