Check out when and where you should go to get the best view of the last occurrence of Manhattanhenge in 2019.

Social media explodes with stunning photos four times per year as a spectacular sunset known as Manhattanhenge occurs. The event occurs twice in May and twice in July.

Those who missed Friday evening's event will have another opportunity to view the spectacle on Saturday evening, July 13.

The well-known phenomenon features a perfectly aligned sunset beaming down the east- and westward roads of the borough’s grid. The result is a dazzling glow that illuminates the north and south sides of the streets’ towering buildings.

The photo-worthy event brings many spectators together, many of whom will attempt to capture the breath-taking sunset, assuming the weather cooperates.

The event can be seen when the sun is either partially or fully visible above Manhattan’s skyline. On Saturday, half of the sun will rest on the grid. Photographers have different preferences on what version works best for photographs.

You'll be able to view the spectacle on Saturday at 8:21 p.m. EDT.

How will weather conditions be for viewing and capturing Manhattanhenge?

On Saturday, there appears to be a weak ridge of high pressure setting up right over southern New York, providing clear skies and "pretty much perfect viewing conditions for the event," according to AccuWeather Meteorologist Max Gawryla.
