Weather pattern favors warmth for a while

It won't be warm all the time, but the weather pattern will favor warmth most of the time for the next several days. The chilly shots that we do see will be aimed down the Plains and into Texas, then toward the Southeast; parts of Oklahoma and Texas will have some cold days here and there along with the potential for some ice and snow. On the other side, most of Florida will remain very warm for at least the next week, and it will feel nearly summerlike. Those visiting Florida from the North will definitely call it summery! It won't be as active as the last week has been, but there will be several good chances for rain except in the Florida Peninsula and around the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles; however, other parts of West Texas and western Oklahoma will stand to have one or two good chances for rain.
