Rain, wind to target Germany from Friday into the weekend
Following a couple of largely dry and mild days across Germany, unsettled weather will return from Friday into the weekend.
Central and southern Germany will enjoy above-normal temperatures and dry weather through Thursday. Skies will feature a mixture of clouds and sunshine.
While it will be dry much of the time through Thursday in northern Germany, a brief shower cannot be ruled out.
Along with the threat for a few showers, sunshine will be limited by clouds.

The threat of rain will increase and expand throughout all of Germany on Friday as a cold front dashes across the country from north to south with a period of rain followed by showers.
Saturday will likely be the driest day of the weekend with a couple of showers expected in northern and eastern Germany.
Elsewhere, nothing more than a isolated shower is expected with a few peeks of sunshine.
A strong cold front will then blast through the country Saturday night into Sunday unleashing another period of rain accompanied by strong winds.
Wind gusts over 80 km/h (50 mph) are expected across northern and eastern Germany with gusts up to 65 km/h (40 mph) elsewhere.

These strong winds will pull colder air from Scandinavia southward across Germany on Sunday.
"The damp conditions and cool air, combined with the gusty winds, will result in the AccuWeather RealFeel® temperature staying below 9 C (48 F) throughout all of Germany," said AccuWeather Meteorologist Courtney Spamer.
In fact, it will be cold enough to cause snow across the higher terrain of central and southern Germany.
A brief pause in the unsettled weather is expected early next week before another storm targets the country as early as Wednesday or Thursday.
