An active setup continues through early next week
Cold fronts will continue to push in to the South and stall through this weekend and early next week. That will lead to continued wetter than usual and not as hot as usual weather. Some areas will see slow-moving downpours that lead to flooding again. But, it looks as though the weather pattern will change later next week leading to a hotter and less wet setup. Out in the tropics, the Atlantic looks to remain quiet for the rest of the month while the East and Central Pacific remains active.
