The Storm Parade Begins

Tonight's update much quicker than I wished, due to daughter's school orientation night. Much to report tomorrow.

Consider if you will, the satellite photo below. For anyone who dared worry about tropical season not being active enough recently, check out what we've got lined up -- that's TD #16, Maria, and Nate lined up (and what the photo doesn't show is another low forming in the Gulf that we need to keep an eye on). Check the newly redesigned AccuWeather.com Hurricane center (by Me & Carl :)) for more detailed information.

Fortunately Maria and Nate are moving away from land, but as JB and Carl pointed out, one model (and only one model right now) is predicting that TD #16 will move into the Gulf and end up near, you guessed it, New Orleans.
