When the late-season Moderate Risks were issued last week, a few of our more hardier forecasters jumped in a car and headed west for a storm chase. They encountered a close lightning strike and a rain-wrapped tornado on their chase, and their video and report is below. Click here to see all their photos and videos from the event. You can download the RadarPlus animations that they show here (they are "LWX"). More radar and satellite animations from this event are forthcoming.
