T.D. 27 Floods Barbados
Localized flooding occurred on Barbados today after Tropical Depression #27 dropped nearly 6 inches of rain on the island.
Even though the system has now passed by, the Barbados Meteorological Service advised that conditions would be "Moderate to rough in open water, swells 2.0 to 3.0 m. A small craft advisory remains in effect for above normal sea swells."
AccuWeather.com Professional's Joe Bastardi said in his morning blog: "I have no reservations about Tropical Depression #27 growing into a Cat 2 or 3 Hurricane Gamma."
