RP: Visible Satellite Shows Snow Cover
It was unusually clear this afternoon in the Northeast, allowing visible satellite shots (which see the earth like a camera) from government satellites to detail the snow cover in the area. Below is a visible satellite image from AccuWeather.com. Almost all the pale colors that you see are snow on the ground, though there are a few wave clouds exiting the northeastern-most part of the image.
