COAST GUARD SEARCH: Fox News reports on-air this evening that a Coast Guard is searching for a missing jet skier near the Tampa shore.
EVACUATION ORDER: Florida Governor Jeb Bush has declared a state-wide emergency and 20,000 have been asked to evacuate from the sparsely-populated northwest coast.
GOOD NEWS: In a somewhat-odd government / commercial partnership, officials say Wal-Mart's warehouses are now declared disaster relief centers and are ready to help out. Alberto will also help extinguish wildfires that have plagued Florida this Spring.
The storm has continued to deliver copious rainfall amounts, over a foot offshore, over 6 inches in spots on land.
As the storm moves away from Florida, it will start to cause a fierce onshore flow in the Carolinas. Beach erosion and rip tides will be a concern Tuesday and Wednesday.
Models show remarkable similarities, saying that Tropical Storm Alberto will move up the southeast coast, at least through the Carolinas.
