I would have done this look-back last year, but this time last year, all eyes were on Katrina, who would surpass Andrew to claim the #1 spot in "most damaging U.S. hurricane." It also was the first time incredible damage pictures (such as boards through trees) were widely distributed, if not simply photographed.
