High Winds, Heavy Precip for West
A massive storm system is set to pummel the western coast of North America on Monday, spreading heavy rain into California and heavy snow into the mountains of California and British Columbia. Rain amounts could approach 10 inches in southern California.

Out West, major storm with subtropical moisture bringing widespread rainfall to southwestern British Columbia with heavy snow in the mountains. Whistler continues to get pounded with snow. They currently have a base of 255 cm (100 inches) and I expect a total of 40-60 cm of snow from Sunday afternoon to Monday evening. Heavy snow will also occur in the Rocky mountains of eastern British Columbia through Monday.
