Good or Bad? TS Humberto on RadarPlus
BREAKING NEWS: Humberto was upgraded to a Hurricane last night and made landfall in northeast Texas.
ORIGINAL POST:
The newly-declared Tropical Storm Humberto off the coast of Houston, Texas has an erratic, weak wind field according to RadarPlus analysis at 1 PM.
WILL HUMBERTO BE GOOD OR BAD FOR TX/LA?
The main threat from this storm will be flooding rains, and as I said before the last storm, southern Texas doesn't need any more of that. Northwestern Louisiana, however, could use some rain (though flooding may correct a drought rainfall deficit, it can still be bad when water quickly runs off of hardened ground).
