Global Warming Vs. Hurricanes, Again
I've said before that I don't have an opinion on Global Warming. I know many of you do, which is why I'll pass along two articles today. If you want to argue one way or another, spare me... but feel free to debate on the .
1.USAToday's piece quoting researchers today as saying that Global Warming was "responsible" for the unusually active 2005 hurricane season. The panel reaffirmed a previous statement that the warming is the worst in 1000 years. The NY Times has a descriptive article about the latter item, and Google News has more.
2. A contrarion blogger's opinion which quotes Colorado State's Dr. William Gray (who was also quoted in the USAToday article, calling the findings "ridiculous.") There are some contrarians out there, for sure... when one is a respected scientist famous for his hurricane forecasts, I think it's worth taking note of.
