GFS Back to NYC Hit
I thought this was an amusing graphic that our folks put together early this week:
The story is still the same, but of course the long-range GFS forecast model has been showing a hurricane, possibly hitting New England, since yesterday. By yesterday evening, it had swayed the storm off-course, out into the ocean, and weakened it. But last night's run has a stronger storm approaching New York City again:
As mentioned before, we'll likely see more swings in our only long-range model as we approach Labor Day Weekend, and I won't have time to cover them all here. So stay tuned to AccuWeather.com Professional for the latest model information.
