Final Coastal Storm Rainfall Totals

Here are the final coastal storm total rainfall reports from yesterday and last night:

FALMOUTH: 6.80"
MARION, PLYMOUTH, WHITMAN: 6.10"

Conn.:
BOLTON: 2.70"
POMFRET CENTER: 2.49"

R.I.:
PAWTUCKET: 4.56"
RUMFORD: 4.46"

N.Y.:
RUMFORD: 4.46"
SHIRLEY: 2.19"

N.J.:
OAKLAND: 1.26"
RIDGEWOOD: 1.15"

At least Boston, Worchester, and Providence set new daily rainfall records. So far this morning, there are no major media reports of damage or injury. Mudslides and lost yards were reported by WHDH but CBS4 has the best selection of photos and video from the Boston area.

The image above represents the general location of heavy rainfall. These are Doppler estimates, but I would wager that the red color begins 4 inches and the darkest red indicates over 6 inches.
