Coldest Valentine's Day Ever!
UPDATE 2/15: A tale of two areas of the country:

While many stations in the Northeast measured their coldest Valentine's Day on record (indicated by purple #1s), several stations in California had their hottest Valentine's Day on record (indicated by brown #1s). This data is from SERCC. Here are some of the cold records set:

We have more information, including the graphic above, in our story "Valentine's Day cold blast shatters records in northeastern US." There is also a claim of a -114 wind chill in New York.
ORIGINAL POST 2/14: It was the coldest Valentine's Day morning ever at many locations in the Northeast. Here's a look at temperatures and a list of daily record lows broken:

Mount Washington, NH: -40 F Albany, NY: -13 F Boston: -9 F New York City: -1 F
The cold, by itself, was impressive for mid-February, but high winds also plagued the Northeast U.S. and southeastern Canada. AccuWeather RealFeel temperatures dipped to -91 degrees F at Mt. Washington, NH; both Quebec and Worcester, Mass. reported -51. Wind chill temperatures plunged to -78 at Mount Washington, NH, with -45 at Quebec and -44 at Worcester, Mass. Graphs of several particularly cold stations are shown below.

The lowest temperature reported in Pennsylvania was -16 F in Kane, PA. My station here in State College read -2 to -3 degrees.
