Chased: Central PA T-Storms Saturday

I decided yesterday afternoon after another storm formed just east of me and stayed still, that I would get off my seat and chase it. Sometimes it takes me a while to remember that chasing storms is fun (and I was disappointed to have not witnessed the microburst damage occurring just miles from me on Thursday).

Of course, as soon as I arrived on the scene, the storm decided it was time to promptly make an exit and I was left with only heavy rain and some street flooding. You can see in the video below, at the very end, that the local police were getting involved due to the amount of water and washed out dirt/gravel on North Fillmore road [Google Map].

I was lucky enough to be in the maximum rainfall area, which according to the AccuWeather.com RadarPlus Doppler-estimated precip shot below, was over 3 inches (the video was taken in the brown square).
