Carolinas/VA Snowstorm, Then Another

The proverbial mixed bag of winter precip is going on in the Carolinas and Virginias this morning. Snowfall reports will be posted here later when they start to come in fast & furious.

Snow and ice will spread through the northern Virginias as well later today. Here are blog postings that I made earlier, showing the radar and obs maps at 7 AM in the Carolinas and Virginia.

And the next storm is on its way... I posted a map to the Forums shownig the NMM forecast snowfall from southern Mississippi through Virginia - you can also click here to see it.
