Blizzard Totals At 3 Feet, Thundersnow

UPDATE (4 PM): Highest by state list updated below. We now have several reports over 30 inches. I hope that not many of these are because there was so much drifting, remember you need to average the snow depths to get an accurate reading.

You can see the northern extent of the snow on this liquid precipitation image from the NWS. Unfortunately New York City and Long Island missed out on most of the snow. It's a mess out there folks. Over 20 inches of snow has fallen in four states. Blizzard Warnings are in effect for three. Thundersnow has been observed overnight at multiple locations, most recently Baltimore around 4 AM. Here's a list of NWS Snow Spotter reports as of 7 AM Eastern Time.
