Alabama Tornadoes, NE Warmth

Just a quick storm update before I retire for the evening. A better report will be issued in the morning.

Central Alabama has been getting hammered today with severe storm after severe storm, and 6 tornadoes have been reported. The radars have been full of Tornadic Vortex & rotational signatures (see raw radar images & movies here). At one point, two heavy cells in Alabama had caused 25,000 lightning strikes in 2 hours according to AccuWeather.com RadarPlus.

The storm system has been pushing very warm air up into the Northeast today... currently at my house in Central PA (9:30 p.m.) it's 65 degrees and rising, which is 22 degrees above our normal high and 32 degrees above what it should be this time of night.
