AccuChase09: Day 2: Storms Bigger in Texas

Day 2: Shawn successfully chased the large Supercell storm shown below near Dallas, Texas with 1 inch hail, and helped Oswego launch a balloon into the storm for VORTEX2. Shawn's team will be resting in Norman, Oklahoma until Friday after covering 2,500 miles - as the weather will be benign for the rest of the week. They will likely tour the National Weather Center and Storm Prediction Center. Check out his updated pictures below and videos (in the video player at right) showing hail, heavy rain, awesome clouds, and rainbows.
