COLDEN, NY: 6.0"
BAYARD, WV: 4.8"

Thundersnow was reported by several folks in Pennsylvania. Carl also noted that the snowflakes last night here in State College, PA were huge. That speaks to the convective nature of the line of heavy snow that moved through, "sparking" the thundersnow reports. Joe Bastardi pointed out that lighting and hail 1 inch in diameter was reported at the Philadelphia airport 10 minutes before the rain changed to snow (raw observations here).

Below is a shot of the radar and here is a movie. We're talking the equivalent of heavy rain when this line went through, so this was seriously heavy, wet snow. Fortunately the line moved through relatively quickly.
