Europe Spring Preview

A wide variety of weather will affect Europe this spring, but what can you expect in your area?

Anyone looking to escape winter's chill will want to head to western Europe where the most widespread warmth will prevail throughout the season.

Unfortunately, rain will likely dampen outdoor plans from the British Isles into Scandinavia and parts of northern Europe.

Central Europe can expect a back-and-forth battle between cool and mild air with extended dry spells.

Eastern Europe is going to have to wait the longest to feel the warmth of spring as cold air holds early in the season and brings the risk of additional snowfall.

If you are planning a holiday, you might want to look into the Iberian Peninsula or southern France where generally above-normal temperatures and drier-than-normal weather are expected.
