Thanksgiving full moon

The full moon this month occurs tonight! The November full moon is usually referred to as the Full Beaver Moon or the Full Frost Moon. But, this year, it's the Full Turkey Moon.
After stuffing yourself with turkey, cool off outside and look up to see the Thanksgiving Full Moon. It won't be a supermoon. But it's close. Lunar perigee is early Monday morning. The next supermoon will occur in January of 2019. That full moon will also feature a total lunar eclipse. It will be the first total lunar eclipse visible from all of North America since 2015!
We will certainly be hoping for clear skies the night of January 20 or 21! Thanks for reading. Just look up; you never know what you will see!
