Cold air to expand the rest of this month
A large, broad trough or dip in the jet stream is expected across the nation's midsection through the end of the month, which will allow several cold air intrusions from the Rockies to Ontario and Quebec and down into the lower 48 states.
This pattern also favors drier weather for western BC, while the coldest air will likely remain west of Atlantic Canada.
