Thunderstorms to cross I-95 corridor late today
The morning pressure analysis shows the cold front that will reach the East Coast Saturday. It will be preceded by thunderstorms that could cause damaging winds and flash flooding at some of the same places that had flooding rain earlier this week.

Both the GFS and NAM models predict a concentrated area of heavy rain this evening. However, uncertainty is introduced because the areas do not totally match.

Despite the lack of a perfect match, people living in recently flooded areas need be alert about this new threat.
