Boston: Mixed snow and rain Saturday, then snowstorm to follow Sunday

A clipper storm will bring a mixture of rain and snow on Saturday afternoon with little or now accumulation. On Sunday and Sunday night, a storm moving up off the Atlantic Coast will bring accumulating snow to the Boston area. Up to a few inches of snow is forecast to fall with 3-6 inches over southeastern Massachusetts. However, if the storm strengthens significantly, heavier snow may be thrown farther to the northwest, through the city and beyond with higher totals for southeastern Massachusetts.
