As a new batch of Arctic air invades New England, snow of varying intensity from Friday night to Saturday will bring 1-3 inches of snow and slippery travel in Boston. As a storm quickly strengthens along the front as it reaches the New England coast, locally heavier snow up to 6 inches or so may fall in some areas. Gusty winds will cause blowing and drifting snow throughout the region. Bitterly cold conditions are in store regardless of the amount of snow that falls with dangerously low AccuWeather RealFeel® Temperatures this weekend.
