A clipper storm moving in from the Midwest is expected to bring a period of accumulating snow to New York City from Saturday night into Sunday morning. Snowfall can lead to slippery roads, runway slowdowns and travel delays at area airports. While snowfall from New York City on north and west will be relatively light, a moderate snowfall is forecast south and east in south and central New Jersey and much of Long Island, New York. There can be a sharp gradient in amounts from Manhattan to Staten Island and Long Island.
