A storm will strengthen off the mid-Atlantic coast on Sunday night and can bring a period of snow to the New York City metro area. Should the snow fall heavily enough for a period of time, there can be more accumulation and some slick spots that develop on streets and sidewalks. If the snow remains light, it is more likely that the street and sidewalks will remain wet, with most accumulation on elevated and grassy surfaces. Precipitation will exit quickly Monday morning.
