...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following counties, Brown, Callahan, Coke, Coleman, Concho, Crockett, Fisher, Haskell, Irion, Jones, Kimble, Mason, McCulloch, Menard, Nolan, Runnels, San Saba, Schleicher, Shackelford, Sterling, Sutton, Taylor, Throckmorton and Tom Green. * WHEN...Through Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Thunderstorms producing very heavy rainfall will continue across much of West Central Texas today but become more numerous tonight and into Sunday morning. Some of these storms will produce 2 to 5 inches of rain in a short amount of time, with a few isolated locations exceeding 8 inches. - Http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
