...LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATION TODAY... Periods of snow will continue through the morning hours before tapering off this afternoon. Snow amounts of 1-2 inches can be expected, primarily on grassy and elevated surfaces. Some heavier periods of snow will reduce visibilities at times and this could also allow for some light accumulations on area roadways. With temperatures below freezing, some slick spots will be possible, especially on bridges and overpasses. Temperatures today will remain steady mainly in the upper 20s. These cold temperatures combined with gusty winds of 20-25 mph will result in wind chill values in the teens to lower 20s. Motorists should exercise caution. Plan for extra time if traveling this morning.
