River levels are decreasing at Rocester, Doveridge and Aston Bridge, but still rising at Hatton and Marston as the rainfall from the past few days moves down the river system. Flooding remains likely throughout Friday and into Saturday 20 December 2025. Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near rivers. Flooding may affect low-lying land and roads adjacent to the River Dove between Rocester and Clay Mills. We are closely monitoring the situation. Stay away from floodwater - it contains hidden dangers such as open manhole covers, sewage and chemicals . Avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and stay aware in case further warnings are issued. This message will be updated by 11:00AM on 20 December 2025 or as the situation changes.
