...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CHST SUNDAY... * WHAT...Large breaking waves of 7 to 9 feet. * WHERE...North facing reefs of Pohnpei and north and east facing reefs of Kosrae. * WHEN...Until 6 AM ChST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...East to northeast trade swell will interact with a northerly secondary swell to produce hazardous surf for north-facing reefs at Pohnpei, and the north and east-facing reefs at Kosrae, through Sunday morning. Swells and surf are expected to decrease Sunday, but may rebuild early next week as north to northeast swell is generated by distant mid-latitude systems. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
