Additional information: Rain will change over to flurries late Friday morning or early Friday afternoon as temperatures rapidly fall below the freezing mark. This will be the result of a strong cold front passing through the area. Southerly winds will abruptly become westerly Friday morning upon the passage of the cold front with gusts of 60 to 80 km/h. Winds are expected to ease through Friday night. Roads and walkways may become icy and slippery. Travel may become difficult at times.
