Locations: Bonavista North, Gander and vicinity, and the Bay d'Espoir Highway.. Total snowfall: 10 to 15 cm (tonight). Maximum wind gusts: northerly 60 to 70 km/h, except 90 along parts of the coast. (strongest near midnight). Remarks: Snow will accumulate for a few hours before winds begin to increase. Conditions are expected to deteriorate rapidly once the strengthening winds combine with cold temperatures and fresh snowfall, resulting in widespread blowing snow. ### Travel will likely be hazardous due to near-zero visibility.
