...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...

    The Flood Watch continues for

    * Portions of North Idaho and Washington, including the
following counties, in North Idaho, Benewah, Bonner, Kootenai,
Latah, and Shoshone. In Washington, Adams, Grant, Lincoln,
    Pend Oreille, Spokane, and Stevens.

    * Through Wednesday afternoon

    * Widespread precipitation is expected on Tuesday with widespread
rain amounts of half an inch possible in the Palouse northward
toward Spokane and Coeur d'Alene areas. Localized precipitation
amounts up to one inch will be possible over the central and
    southern Idaho Panhandle on Tuesday.

    * Look for rises on creeks and small streams. Field flooding
will likely occur as well in areas that typically flood in the
    spring due to poor drainage.

    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
    current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
