Near zero visibility in fog is expected or occurring.
Widespread dense fog is expected again over the Red River Valley eastward into northwestern Ontario, courtesy of a weak trough of low pressure in the area. Visibility in fog which had improved somewhat this afternoon will quickly deteriorate again this evening. Motorists including those travelling along the Trans-Canada Highway should be prepared to encounter areas of near-zero visibility tonight through Monday morning. Conditions will gradually improve late Monday morning, although fog may persist throughout much of the day in areas near the Ontario border.
Visibility may be significantly and suddenly reduced to near zero.
