Here comes the cold, some get snow this week!
The turn to colder is underway. The front leading the colder air south will bring some needed rain but also cause a few gusty storms near the Mississippi River. Moisture riding over the colder air filling in will cause some snow in parts of West Texas and disturbances rounding the deep upper trough that will set up over the eastern states will cause some light snow, too. We have to watch out for mischief along the East Coast as well that can cause snow.
